Take a day off. Don’t worry about any of our soldiers getting killed on the 4th. Don’t wonder why people are resisting our efforts to fuck with their world, their values, their religion, their government, their way of life. Just concentrate on the fact that they have OUR oil. Don’t even concentrate on how many bad guys come from our good friend in Saudi Arabia.Don’t even worry about the up-coming election. Anyone can become president.
Don’t think about our heritage the people we stole from, and killed.
Don’t question our myths.
Don’t question if god is really an American, you know he is.
Go forth and be heroic with your fireworks!
Go forth and honor our wars, our rebellion, our faith, our fictions, our myths, and our rebellious old rich, white, elitist, slave-owning fathers who brought for on this continent the good news that rape, pillage and plunder was no longer the privilege of the Church and Monarchy, but even the Common Man had a right to force his will upon others.
